Nokia 5310 Xpress Music Versus the Nokia 6300 Black - Find The Difference

The Nokia 5310 Xpress Music and the Nokia 6300 Black are famous for their design and in-built features. There are are certain subtle differences between the two sets. The differences are so minute that they are negligible. The 5310 has a TFT screen, a keypad and control buttons and comes in black colour. Same is the case with 6300 but it is coloured as white silver. There are, however, some significant differences in their dimensions and weight. The former measures 103.8 x 44.7 x 9.9 mm and weighs only 71 gms. Whereas the latter measures 106.4 x 43.6 x 11.7 mm and has a net weight of 91 gms.

As regards the TFT screen, in 5310 it measures 31.5 x 41.5 mm and in 6300 it measures 31 x 41 mm. The screen resolution and colour support are slated to be the same. So, the differences are abysmally small.

However, the memory shows a significant difference that may account to the superiority of one as compared to the other. In Nokia 6300 Black, the card slot has 7.8 MB of user memory. The Nokia 5310 Xpress Music is equipped with 30 MB internal memory. The battery of this phone gives a standby time of 300 hr and a talktime of 5 hr and 20 mins. In 6300, the battery standby time is 348 hr and the talktime is 3 hr, 30 mins.

The other features of both the handsets are the same. Both the mobile phones come with a 2 MP camera with a resolution capacity of 1600x1200 pixels, a music player that can run on all the popular formats, a FM radio and other exalted connectivity options such as Bluetooth, GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE and USB port. The retail sellers say that they never place these two sets together on display in their showrooms. Their customers become confused and puzzled as to which set to buy.
